Hola Claudio and Eduardo: We are back in Canada, nearly two weeks now,
and Argentina seems like a dream to us. We enjoyed your country so
very much - so many wonderful sights to see, so much to learn
about the history, culture and people of
Argentina. The roads are TERRIBLE, in Patagonia, but the truck and
camper from Austral RV were sturdy and capable of carrying us over the
roughest of roads. We had such an amazing adventures and so many
unforgettable experiences. Our highlights were the people of your
country - the friendliness, courtesies extended to us, the "hellos",
welcomes ..... we can't say enough.
We thank you so much for enabling us to
have these amazing experiences . We are sorry for some of the damage
that the camper an truck incurred, but as you know, they were
impossible to avoid. We feel you will do well by manufacturing more of
these campers. We had so much interest from foreigners and Argentine
people as we travelled. We wish you both well with this. It's a
wonderful idea !!
Eduardo, once again we thank you for all
the attention and help you gave us throughout our trip. You are a very
lovely gentleman and we enjoyed meeting you so much. Your English is
just fine !!! Claudio, thank you also. We were sorry we couldn't meet
up with you one more time at the end of our trip, but we know your
business keeps you busy.
Please continue to keep in touch with us
and you know if either of you are every in
CANADA, you are welcome with us.

In December 2011, I rented the Tango 4x4 for 3 weeks starting from
Buenos Aires. My family and I are traveling since a long time and
among the 4WD rentals I made in more
than 30 countries worldwide, I consider the rental with Austral RV as
one of the best.
Our trip was plus or less 8.000 kms. The car was new, no more than a
few thousand kms. I did not have any problem with it, with the
exception of flat tyres (advice: take plugs with you, it is impossible
to find locally. It is easy to apply plug and fix it by your own and
far better than local vulcanization which is poorly done and destroys
the tyres).
The cell was sufficient for the comfort we needed. Size is OK for 2
adults and a child. Renting such kind of camper is very convenient as
you can drive on dirt tracks and sleep wherever you are. This is very
important in countries like Argentina where you often are far from all
and can enjoy sleeping in marvelous landscapes.
Austral RV people are extremely nice, clearly they did their best so
that our journey was very good. By the end of the trip we had a
problem with the closure of Bariloche airport due volcano matters. We
were informed only two days before departure and we had to change our
return flight from Bariloche to Trelew. Austral RV was extremely
comprehensive and it was possible to change drop-off location without
any consequence for us.
As a summary, my family and I enjoyed very much our trip to Argentina,
Austral RV and their Tango 4x4 were definitely part of this success.
Thanks again to Claudio and Eduardo for their welcome and the way they
make rental business. |

Hola
Claudio and Eduardo, I’ve finally found the time to sit and write you
a few lines and send a few photos of my trip in your RV Tango through
Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil and Chile.
I hope you
managed to prepare the Amarok in time for your German customer. I’m
sorry there was so much restoration required after I got the RV back
to Buenos Aires but it was just the luck of the draw, the way things
worked out on my journey. I really appreciated the co-operation
received from both of you and it helped make
the RV
experience a memorable one.
I am giving
a talk to a 4WD club in early October about travelling in South
America and you can be sure I’ll be extolling the virtues of your
business.
I will send
a few photos and you can feel free to use them in any way you choose.
If you want them in higher resolution let me know as I’ve reduced them
to make them easier to email.
Kind Regards and
best Wishes, |

Saludos
